Exercise Can Help Reduce Your Risk of Dementia

It is never too late to start exercising. Engaging in moderate activity such as a brisk walk for 30 to 40 minutes several times a week can improve your brain function. Research studies have shown that vigorous exercise may be beneficial in delaying cognitive decline and the onset of Alzheimer's disease. However, more trials with larger numbers of participants are needed. In the meantime, findings on this topic continue to be promising. 

Blocking out the time to get regular physical exercise may feel impossible to squeeze into your already busy day, but even taking a couple of shorter walks every day is better than nothing. What about taking the stairs instead of the elevator? Move your body and reap the benefits of improving your brain health!
