Happy is good! I love to see my grandchildren happy! Having a smile on our face makes us feel instantly happy. What is "happy" and how do we become happier? Research studies have shown that spending time with friends and family is one sure-fire way to improve our mental well-being. I agree! We are social beings. We need connection and interaction. Another way to boost our mood is to get outside. Spending time outside will not only boost our mood, but improve our thinking capabilities. So the next time you look out the window and see that sunshine, get outside for at least 20 minutes and take note of the impact it has on you and your brain!
