Finding Some Support

When I needed to search for help, support, and answers I didn’t know who to call. When I started receiving more calls about Mom from friends and family, I felt overwhelmed at times with what I could to to help. This Community Resource Finder is an easy-to-use tool that lists programs and services available in your area. For example, there came a time when my family needed more help with caring for Mom’s growing needs. As the disease progressed, she would sometimes become combative, increasingly frustrated, and very moody. One resource that we found to be very helpful was Home Instead . They were able to select a wonderful, compassionate, and compatible woman to provide respite care that was so dearly needed. This is just one example of resources that may be available in your community.
